How about the Fox Theatre [[where the Motown Xmas shows were staged), the site of the 20 Grand [[what's there now ?) and other famous clubs the Motown stars played back in the 60's.

The Fox Theater is there on Woodward in all of it's glory having been fully restored in the late 80's.
