"My World Is Empty" and "I Am Changing" were great... "Both Sides Now", not so much. I just don't like that song all slowed down to a snail's pace like that. And she keeps pulling the microphone away from her FACE when she hits the loud belting notes toward the end of "I Am Changing".. I wish she would cut that out!!! Both times I saw her sing it, the notes were great, but she pulled the mic away to regulate the volume... damn it, I wanted her to bust my fuckin eardrums out with that stuff! Screw those little old ladies in the audience, let them deal with it.... I want to be blown out of my chair. I sure wish she would add "Touch", or "Where Is It I Belong" to this show, they would fit in so beautiful.

I am so very. very PROUD of Mary Wilson. She looks elegant and beautiful and more importantly sounds so profound and sultry here. The lady has a strong compassionate message that she delivers in her choice of songs. A true classic and timeless legend - Mary has fooled her naysayer's one and all - Motown, her ex husband, critics, and the women she has sung with, etc, etc, -

May you continue to soar Mary Wilson!!!

Here is a special, rare gem that I wished she would put into her "Up Close" shows:
