She appeared on several Joe Cocker releases, but is best known for her impassioned appearance on The Rolling Stones’ ‘Gimme Shelter’. In addition to her extensive session work, Merry has enjoyed a successful solo career under the guidance of legendary music producer, Lou Adler. This is Merry's first show in several years and rare hometown appearance. Arnold McCuller is acknowledged as one of the most expressive vocalist in the business. His show stopping live performances regularly bring audiences to their feet. Arnold’s voice has graced recordings by Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Luther Vandross, Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt, Bette Midler, Brenda Russell, Lionel Richie, Dave Koz, Billy Idol, Lyle Lovett and Beck to name a few.

Good to see them both working in LA again. Merry Clayton is one of those singers in need of a CD retrospective ala Patrice Holloway and Darlene Love.
