Diana Ross & The Supremes Lost & Found

Having resisted buying Let The Music Play because of the cost, I couldn't resist buying when I noticed it on HMV for only £2.99. Well - after a few weeks wait it finally arrived today and there's some good stuff on there. Gone up to £5.99 now but surely still a steal?

It's worth it at the right price. I got mine new for $10 USD.

If you want to have as much as possible never-before-released stuff of the girls, this is a very good buy, at any price.

I happened to be listening to it the other day and it held my interest better than the 4 Tops and Martha and the Vandellas which I listened to as well. Which segues into my burning question when will we see something in this series from Ms. Knight and the Pips?

I think the sales of the items in this series were generally very poor; while the Supremes set probably did the best of them, earlier sets did not do well and I don't think you'll see many more, especially from more minor acts.

I think The Supremes set was the worst of that Series and probably of all the Hip-O releases. I was not impressed and have only played it a few times. I prefer most of the Motown originals on the Never-Before-Released Masters.

I found The Martha Reeves and the Vandellas compilation to be my all-time favorite Motown release of previously unreleased music. It reminded me of my favorite Vandellas' albums Watchout! and Black Magic. I played it weekly for almost a year and still have a CD-R in my car. Disc 1 is the best.

I'd have to agree with you. I'm not sure I even made it all the way through that one [[Supremes). But, I'm glad I have it for 'historical purposes'. My favorite is the Martha and Vandellas' one, too. I've played that one a lot.
