CHENE PARK is OPEN!!!!
I've heard a lot of people complaining about last nite show.
I'm not saying any names...Cause I'm not ready to fight!!!!
But it's hard to believe that people are still wasting hard earn money on Imitations!!!
Sorry you waste your money people!!!
It amazing that people rather spend money on glass jewelry instead of real jewelry. huh.huh huh
But don't worry you can see the "Real Deal" next month & you will not be disappointed. Also I been telling the people of Detroit for years to wait!!!

I'm going to tread ever so lightly here because I don't have any skin in this game but there were TWO groups on the bill. How were people suppose to diss one group but not the other?

At $22-$57 a pop [[which is not a bad price for two groups) it's a little difficult to come down on folks on this one.

If it had only been one group I would understand but....shrugs...just my 2cents.

OK, sorry, I'm saving people from having to Google: The two groups: The Whispers and The Stylistics. I attended a Whispers show last year, no imitators there. Guessing it's The Stylistics with Eban Brown. I prefer Russell Thompkins, the original.

Based on the pic [[which can be deceiving) your boys were the real deal and headliners. I personally think they alone are worth the price of admission but that's just me.

i'm wondering why Airrion always seems to hit sour notes when he's singing live. I even saw a TV appearance from 1974 where he was under pitch on more than one occasion. He sounds beautiful on record, but what's the deal live?

Jill....you can punch in/punch out all day...or spend an eternity in the studio to get a good take IF you are the one doing the vocals. I seriously doubt Airrion"s vocals were done in one or two shots at it. WRT to the" other" group....I stated the same thing 2 years ago. There is NO comparison!
