    joe simon albums on cd

    Hello i wonder if joe simon's albums have ever been issued on cd PURE SOUL-NO SAD SONGS 67-68.I Have other albums on cd[i think],would love to see these 2 albums appear on cd one day,anyone know if they will be released. cheers.

    Hi, I don't think they were ever released as CDs. I suspect you are aware closest approximation is Monument of Soul expanded edition, 26 tracks, including most of the tracKs from those two albums, all at a daft (low) price.

    I've not seen either album on compact disc. However, some tracks from Joe Simon's No Sad Songs album were included on an import compilation CD titled Chokin' Kind. I bought my copy on Amazon.com, a few years back.

    thank you folks for the info .MIKE im so glad you mentioned that cd i got an email from amazon to buy which i did not, thought i had most tracks just checked and i have ordered thank you for the reply,also those clips are excellent all the top premiere soul men,you also reminded me, i have some [most of these clips on 8 dvds german i think]gonna have to get them out also,thanks again for your help. cheers.
