    Numbers with Motown

Just for some fun in this depressing world in which we live!

Which Motown songs feature numbers in their title? I'll start with:

Two Can Have A Party - Marvin and Tammi
Once, Twice, Three Times A Lady - Commodores
7 Rooms Of Gloom - Four Tops

    Over to you all!

That must have been a much later purchase by Jobete. I bought that record when it was first out, and no way was it first published by them. my record shows it was a new York production in early 1960 [[before Jobete Music New York was started [[spring 1963), written by Phil Medley, and published by Starflower Music. So, considering that song as a "Motown product' of any kind is stretching things a lot.

The song was in a Jobete music book I bought in the 1970s. This was called "The Motown Era". I've associated it with Motown since then.

    DFTMC has the following information

Million To One, A [[Phil Medley) published Starflower/Jobete
Jimmy Charles & The Revelletts; recording details unknown
    1960; 45: Promo P-1002 A

However, I mostly associate the song with Donny Osmond, since in 1973 MGM issued his single "Young Love" c/w "A Million To One" and lo and behold the publisher for the latter was shown as Stone Agate Music. Jermaine Jackson also recorded the song on his "Come Into My Life" album.
