I actually thought of the correct word early on, but figured they would never use THAT.
I even looked it up to see if it was a real word. Thought I heard of it.

After getting the first two and final letter correct, it was almost impossible to get the final two correct. They could have been U-C [which I used], V-V [also used], N-D [ditto], S-S, G-G, N-D, P-P, V-O, and I suppose many more. I submit that the actual word is the least used of all of these possibilities. Fair enough, but tough.

Jerry, I took only 5 guess at this non-word, because I could not get
anything acceptable other than to repeat my 5th guess as my 6th. I

This happens to me all the time. It tells me that I have one wrong answer and usually, I blow it by not knowing a slang reference that - unbeknownst to me - belongs in the category when another one actually sounded like a better answer.

I, too, like Waffle the least. I started playing it a couple of years ago but lost interest, only playing it at random if I was bored or someplace without a book or something better to occupy my time. I only started playing it again recently.

I look forward to playing Connections. My sister had told me about it but I didn't want to get involved in another game. Then one day I was bored and needed something to occupy my time and got hooked.

I also enjoy Phrazle but wish it was only once a day. Having it twice a day can sometimes be frustrating forcing me to get it done and posted before noon. Like today, I haven't done it yet and I have an important call at noon and need to get showered and shaved. I might just have to resign myself to doing the afternoon game, only. When I get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, I'm trying to resist grabbing my phone to play the morning game.

Phoodle is the most infuriating. Connections runs a close second
for me. I feel good when I get it and dejected when I don't. Often
I do not know enough about a catagory to recognize certain options.
It is very clever. [Would like a few more chances to be wrong.]

I have the same problem fitting in the AM Phrazle before Noon.
I discovered that if the AM Phrazle is left in a window on my
computer, without refreshing, I can finish the game. Phrazle
takes the longest to figure out, for me.
