I was surprised about that. Connections has a nasty habit of putting words that can be used together in a separate context. For example, I'm sure they're aware that Match, Tinder and Grindr are all dating apps. Their inclusion in today's puzzle made me consider that as the possible connection for a while. That accounted for the two misses that started my guesses. They always have words that send me down the wrong rabbit hole. I actually appreciate it for being the most difficult of these puzzles.
