    The Falcons -- late 1962

The Falcons members were always changing; members quitting or getting drafted resulting in many changes in the group's line-up.
Here's a pic of the group for a show down in Miami in late 1962. Can anyone ID the members & who was their git player ?
Mac Rice & Eddie Floyd wrote the songs that formed the groups June 62 single release.
Willie Schofield wrote one side of their Feb 63 single, with Rice / Floyd & Wilson Pickett penning the tuva side song.
But who are the guys in this picture of the group ... the one on the left COULD be Eddie Floyd, but he looked different [[more like his appearance later in the 60's) in other pics of the group from the early 60's.Name: MiamiFalconsGigDec62.jpg

In Miami, the Knight Beat Club was attached to Sir Johns Hotel, it was a much smaller club then the huge Harlem Square Club.

Yes, Lance Finnie was their guitarist. He and Schofield were their main songwriters.
