fascinating ..... a relief to hear it turns out to be fake news to an extent from NY Times as less bad is good , yes ....but still terrible ...what's taken Universal so long to set the record straight.

Strange that NY Times doesn't want to make their reporting on this accurate ....

Thanks for posting the article from Tracking Angle and the video from the piece. It's great news to see Universal's Tape Vaults weren't completely gutted by that fire they had at their facility years ago.

Hmmmm... some of this still seems highly suspicious. Particularly the part that basically says they found safety copies in other Universal vaults that sound just as good or better because they weren't used as much. That's like saying even though the Mona Lisa was torched we still have the print we use to make postcards to sell in the gift shop so who cares it still will look like her.
