The Republicans are now clamoring for action in the Middle East, even though that will likely galvanize support for the president. They know that the profits of war upstage the problems presented by a suddenly popular opposition-party president.

I'll decide who I'm supporting after finding out who is running. I'll support the one who maintains my perspective, regardless of party affiliation. I have no respect for either party and believe that we need at least two more major parties before government will again work as it should.

The members of Congress are more concerned with public face and appearing to be hardliners than they are with making sure the country survives. I'm convinced that there are some who want the country to devolve into civil war so they can say "I told you do!" Pardon my very strong opinion, but those people can go to Hell. Just don't take me with you.
