I used that line when my wife found me feeding the dog her special liver and noodles casserole under the table on our last anniversary. It didn't work. I wound up having to eat it anyway and the dog is mad because I made it sick.

I really have to tell her to stop listening to the ladies at the book club. Most of their culinary suggestions wind up making my toilet work too hard for a week or not at all for two weeks.

You know, now that I think about it, I'm not so sure she is actually cooking anything but the noodles. I'm going to pay one of those chicks to select a cook book one day and hope that they really are paying attention to the book of the week.
