You guys seemed pretty happy when I posted the crazy sale Amazon was having on the Tammi Terrell box set earlier this month, so I thought you may like this as well..


Amazon is currently selling the documentary Respect Yourself: The Stax Records Story on DVD for $8.99.. Normally $19.99. The tally says there are only four left, but as with the Tammi box, they typically restock on the fly and keep selling at that price. I have no idea how long the sale will last for, but the Tammi one went three days.

Even better, deepdiscount.com currently has, as part of its Spring Cleaning Sale, a two DVD set for $9.99 that includes the "Respect Yourself" DVD and the "Stax-Volt Revue: Live In Norway 1967" DVD. It's called "Stax: Double Feature - Respect Yourself/Stax Volt Revue [2 Discs]".

Whoa. That is better. I actually have the two-disc set that I bought in the museum gift shop. It's a really nice set indeed.
