Possibly to remedy the after-effects of too much gobblin' - ?
I did use lephrechans back in the day but when they had that gold discovery[that rainbow thing]they got uppity.
You could try Cornish Piskies. They sound suitable for the job.
Why did the leprechauns get uppity R&B? Were they in a hot air balloon?
Discuss why the Cornish Piskies are suitable, westgrand. Are they related to the Cornish Hens?
Cornish piskies are mythological creatures, similar to elves.
Hooch is a mythological product, similar to Scotch Mist.
Put said piskies and extremely potent hooch together, and you'll get p*****kies. Ta-dah!!!!
Well, that's my line of thinking, anyways!
Now your turn, moe......
Cornish Hens? I'm familiar with Cornish hens as in poultry, although they are perhaps more commonly known as Indian Game. A really old English breed, stockily built for meat production, and with [[IMHO) beautiful coloured plumage. There's a lighter variety called Jubilee.
Or are you meaning something else altogether?
Well moe legend has it that the leprchans were very poor,i mean even the elves looked down on em and we won't even mention the munchkins and fairies but after that gold strike they started buying up everything in sight...middle earth-oz-fairytales...that's right the fairies couldn't even tell their own stories because the leps had the copyrights, why they got so uppity that the movie[the wizard of oz]they wouldn't let real muchkins be in it because they weren't in the leprechans union[those muchkins are leps dressed as muchkins]that gold gave em power that they still use today...remember when you would put your lost tooth under your pillow and get a quarter, well the leps bought the bank and put a big percentage on that quarter...those leprechans don't forget!!
I figured you would know, THANKS!!
Anything for you moe.
The word 'blarney' comes to mind......
Ahhh an top o tha mornin to ya.
And remember, you have to be upside down to kiss The Stone Of Eloquence, the'blarney stone'....
No problem i'm upside down right now.
I bet that's true, but are you in Cork, Ireland....?
Could be,i wake up in some strange places.
If you're in Cork, maybe you're floating somewhere...
Hey, I was in Cork!!! And you know when westgrand!
I do, moe, I do!
I'm sure the Mrs Brown fan club sends you their love, and hopes you'll be back there again soon. "When Irish eyes are smiling...."
Ah yes, Mrs. Brown!! Funny, funny, funny!!!
And the dry humor of Clarkson on Top Gear!!
Clarkson's humour is indeed dry. Think Sahara.....
BTW, can't you sleep? It's already 9.40 in the morning here, and I'm still in my bath robe......
I'm still in my straightjacket.
I'm still in my overcoat. The zip's jammed and I can't get it off.
Then I can only hope you finish early too, Moe.
Guess if you were from the bird world, you'd be an owl.
The early bird catches the worm. Being early didn't do much good for the worm then.
The unfortunate early worm rapidly became a late worm.
And then there was no worm!!!
He left a very large estate, and many relatives......
The leps bought em out.
They would have been coming out of the ground for that!
This spring there's a[million worm march]on the mall it might be a mess, the president is calling out the airforce because the leps have hired vultures to swoop down on any worms that show up early and the airforce has orders to shoot on sight.
Frozen vulture, on sale at Wal-Mart very soon.......
The worms have a large undergound movement.
I presume you heard that from a mole, who infiltrated their organisation...?
Actually a little birdie told me.
Or a worm, that turned......
Must've been the early bird, R&B.
Anyone here remember 'The Whirlybirds' TV series?
Yes! Was it Ken Curtis & Larry Pennell?
Had to check that one out, moe.
Seems you're thinking of 'Ripcord' - a series about skydiving?
'The Whirlybirds' pre-dated it, and was produced by Desilu Studios.
I remember the show,about helicopters.
That's the one. The propellers went round and round, and so did the pilots.
I watched that show 50 years ago - and here I am, still going round and round, in these threads....
Ha! Thanks westgrand! I do remember the show, but who was in it?
Kenneth Tobey [[as Chuck Martin), and Craig Hill [[as Pete 'P.T.' Moore), 1957-1960
Kenneth tobey a good actor from the fifties, early sixties.
Also appeared in 'Airplane!', as an Air Controller.....that's the sort of job which would suit you, arr&bee...
R&B as the Air Controller? Now that's a good one! He hears voices, so he probably hears the planes talking!
Look upon it as my very dry English humour......
Let's have a cup of tea and watch our new air controller in action.........
Be very afraid...i might take the job, hehehehehe.
