Even for Dirk Diggler!!!
Even for Dirk Diggler!!!
It must be quite uncomfortable for him, just sitting down....
Must be.........with a lot of adjustments!!
I expect some day he will have second thoughts, and want to put it all behind him.
His girlfriend finds him a bit of a handful.
Even an octopus would find him a handful.....
And some would find him a dream come true!!
His best place is in someone's fantasy world.
He thinks his life is a reality, but he's living in his own dream world.
And some womens'!!
And not a few men either, I expect. If he's peddling a dream for others, he can't be fussy about the dreamers....
Is that any relation to Freddy & The Dreamers, westgrand??
You're really going back, Moe! You must remember them...
Freddy Garrity was a madcap, but made his mark in the 60s. When his pop fame days were over, he still kept touring and performing. For a long time, he lived only about 20 minutes drive from here.
It's more likely to be REM, moe.
Or The Andantes...Like A Nightmare....
The Andantes sing like heaven westgrand!!
Of course. We'd best not say The Dreams sing like heaven. lest we do find ourselves in a real nightmare situation...
Quite right!!
I've never seen either the stage show, or the movie.
Is Freddy still alive westgrand?
No Moe, Freddie [[normally ending in 'ie') passed away on holiday in Wales, in 2006, aged about 70. Had been taken ill on a flight several years before, and became dependent on a wheelchair for the rest of his life, and couldn't perform, but had a manic sense of humour to the end.
They had a short career in the 60s, but Freddie & The Dreamers had some big hits. "You Were Made For Me" [[written originally for The Searchers, but rejected) reportedly sold 750,000 in UK alone.

WOW, that a lot!!
My bad to Freddie [[no y).
They were so popular that Chubby Checker was able to cash in with "Let's Do the Freddie".
That I remember!!!
I bet you remember all the old dance records and crazes....
The dance I invented, the Brick, never caught on. You just stay still in one corner of the dance floor until you're picked up, and you end up getting laid.
Well, I did try it once, but no-one was impressed with my foundation.
Your foundation was as hard as a rock, westgrand!
My makeup was by hammer - that was the tool, not the film company....
Oh, ok. I thought you might've meant "Arm & Hammer."
Well, a smile on the face at a dance never did any harm...
I'll dance with you, westgrand!!
We'll do Saturday Night Fever....
Do you have that white suit? I'm counting on you to have the vest!!!
Somewhere in my clothing is an off the shoulder dress from the late 70's!!!
Good! These days I have both an off the dress shoulder, and an 'off my head' expression, to accompany the moves...all of which now make me look as if I'm in my own late 70's....
Now all we need is one of those dance floors..........can you say EBay??
We'll need one which is sprung.....
OK..............we'll have to look......
We'll need to do more than just look.
We'll have to test it....which could be fun....
One step here, one step there...........
Everybody's doing a brand new dance now, come on Moe, do the Locomotion.
This could turn out to be a train wreck......
This plan is derailed!!
The points of no return.....
Point me to the exit!!!
The tracks of our tears...
I've frequently danced with tears in my eyes. The poppers that other dancers were using to give themselves a buzz..... and the dry ice wafting around.....
...people standing on your feet...not being able to get back up after an ill-judged backflip...
Descending a staircase and complete missing the last two steps, due entirely to an overwhelming vanity which won't permit the wearing of glasses....
Or wearing too high heels & your ankle give way!!
Usually while carrying a drink or food, which then shoots over the nearest person.....
