Bobby Z Former Drummer For Prince Critical After Suffering Heart Attack

Bobby Z, former drummer for Prince has been hospitalized after suffering a massive heart attack over the weekend.

He had 3 blocked arteries, 2 of which have been cleared & will undergo surgery to clear the other after he regains his strength. Bobby was the drummer for The Revolution from 1979-86, when Prince's popularity blew sky high.

Here's wishing for a speedy recovery for Bobby. My best to him!

I heard about it yesterday from former Prince keyboardist Matt Fink. I'll keep him in my prayers.

Just heard the news too. Wow, and Bobby was a rather slight dude too. Just goes to show you don't have to be heavy to be walking around with significant heart disease. Prayers for a speedy recovery Z.
