Passing of blues singer Robin Rogers?

Does anyone know anything about this? I really didn't know her music, but had seen her CDs featured occasionally and I thought I had read about a new one having just been released. But now I have just seen a very short and general reference to her having passed away. From what I could tell, she would have been a fairly young woman, so the passing might have been sudden or unexpected. Does anyone know anything?

Like you, I have seen her CDs but I'm not really familiar with her music. According to an article in the Charlotte Observer, she had liver cancer and passed away on December 17.
