Not the answer but Sly & The Family Stone's Thank You [[Fallettin Me Be Mice Elf Again) mentions 4 of his songs
Dance To The Music
Everyday People
Sing A Simple Song
You Can Make It You Try
There's a Beatles song that mentions 5 of their songs.
Hmmmmmm.... I don't know. Let me think....
Keep guessing.
Well, since nobody has stepped up here goes, the artist is[gene chandler]the song[what now]where he mentions[bless our love-just be true]it's very rare when i can stump the great music minds here....whoopeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
I remember THAT! He sang that at the end of a late Constellation single. Was it "Rainbow 65"? I remember him singing: "Remember when I told you to "Just Be True"?, and remember when I sang "God Bless Our Love"? But, I can't remember what song it is, it's not really part of the main song, so, I never paid much attention to that afterthought monologue.
The song is-what now.
