Itching In My Heart The Good Girls

Never got the appeal of this group. Poor production IMO but lead is sure Diana esque! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9tFgE7...jjwf7bu6mX0bEB

Yeah they were a great young group and was hot for a minute. Guess who that woman is that is taking their picture at 1:40 in the video. Dianaesque indeed! LOL!

They were Motown's "New Supremes" of the late 80s & early 90s.

So often, when a group pays tribute by mimicry to The Supremes, you'll see them wearing opera-length gloves. To the best of my recollection, the only time I ever saw The Supremes in gloves was when they did "Stop!" on the Hollywood Palace. I suppose the concept of elegance associated with the group is what induces tributors to do this but it's always seemed kind of odd to me.

Couldn't get thru whole interview. Pretty bad. Mrs Powell should have spent some time with these girls!

Interesting. Never heard of this group before. They're good! Don't like how the song's been slowed down though.

As far as 1980s cover versions go, I prefer the one by Lisa [[1985) over The Good Girls:

And there's always this tribute, from Slaves of New York:
