I noticed the price dropped just below $24 on amazon
probably the more people order , the price goes down
If the price goes back up would we still recieve the lowest price?
Yes you would receive it at the price you ordered it at if the price went up afterwards.
Just woke up to e mail saying that A Go Go is up for pre order in the UK for £35 !!!!! [[About $45) which is a bit steep !!
And £33.95 when I looked just now...

I received a message than the expanded edition will sent out next monday and that it should arrive on wednesday here
Are there any soundbites available yet?
still not on iTunes yet.strange
Did you buy it from Amazon USA? I never get any advance shipping notices from them. According to the link it will be released Friday the 28th. Which leads me to another question I am interested in knowing about. When this CD is released will they be made available to ALL Amazon fulfillment houses or a handful? This could affect the delivery I would assume.
It's for sale on iTunes with samples of all the tracks.
Thanks for the heads up! It's so tough when sound clips come out before any release--do you wait for the CD and be happily surprised or do you listen to the clips? Then, if you DO listen, you only want MORE--entire tracks! VERY, VERY surprised, excited, and pleased with what clips I've heard so far! [[Yes, I caved and listened! LOL)
I'll be curious to find out whether the "kazoo" version of LILAIIMH is included at any point on this set. I thought the mono LP mix of the song was the kazoo mix, but I'm not hearing a kazoo in the mono clip posted. [[And I haven't listened to my vinyl mono A'GG in many years, so I could very well be mistaken.) Anyone who isn't floored by this set and the fun treasures included will surprise me!
It's still a week away, I've only listened to song clips on an iPad, and I'm already more than willing to say: THANK YOU, Andy, George, and Kevin Reeves for their spectacular and hard work on this set!
As I await the real deal to arrive next week, I've thoroughly enjoyed listening to the set on Spotify.
Cd 2 track 23... wow! That intro!!! Diana in a her sexy sensuous voice followed by Mary & Flo and their interplay with Diana [[great editing and studio wizardry) followed by Diana's jump to a higher register. How many different early takes were used to create the Scratch It Mix? ...
My question.. Andy or George...is it safe to assume that there is not a full, usable early take with Diana singing the entire song as she does at the beginning of this mix?
Also, I'm loving the studio chatter and cues.....
And the extended portions added on to several songs on cd 2...
everyone support this in an immediate and resounding way and "Holland/Dozier/Holland' will show up much sooner than later, I would think
JohnPerrone is going to love the fact that several are extended and have been remixed so as to bring out/accent other instruments hidden/buried in previous mixes. In many ways they sound like 'new' songs.
Thank you George, Andy, Harry, Kevin & all others who were involved in pulling this together. If only we could make time go faster- so I guess it'll be best to keep very busy so that the time between today and next weekend appears to fly by.
the whole set, booklet included, is now for sale and download-able on iTunes.
the booklet lists out that Ross 78 and Sing HDH expanded editions as "I'm Coming Out" so they're next in queue!
Currently £27.19 on Amazon UK for pre-order of the CD set.
I love the new Itching In My Heart mix.
These Boot Are Made For Walking ..pops.great mix
Let The Music Play , What The World Needs Now, Misery Makes its Home are really nice also.
amazing how some tracks were held back until 1969 . surprised they didn't find there way on to Reflections albums.
On my third listen so far this weekend of this excellent release. So great to hear these wonderful songs, incredible musicians, and the timeless voice of Miss Diana Ross!
Another home run! Thank you SO much! I hope there's a radio show with Midnight Johnny to promote it coming up soon...
From John's Facebook page: May 2 9-12M ET on Nightflight, on WOMR 92.1 FM Provincetown, webcasting at www.womr.org...
Great alternate mix of “Misery Makes Its Home In My Heart.” Love that the instrumental track is crystal clear but who’s doing the background vocals? I can’t tell. Thanks.
"Mary Wilson and Marlene Barrow"
Thanks bradsupremes. Their voices mesh well together.
It's interesting to see the number of views on each track. Seems to indicate the tracks that are most liked and the ones that are not.
My fav tracks right now are from "In My Lonely Room" ALL THE WAY THROUGH "Misery" and of course the last two tracks of cd 2. At the moment I can't hear these songs enough. I'm thankful to everyone that worked on this project I never thought I'd get to hear. Speaking of which, I wonder if we'll ever see the 70s Supremes packaged like this one.
Carole, I love this so much I made it my screen saver. Can this be anymore 1960s?
It is interesting to note that Universal Music Group is promoting A Go Go on its Facebook Page.
The isolated backgrounds on what becomes of a broken hearted were quite revealing. Just Mary and Diana. I wonder what was going on with Florence during this period. I will say the songs with backgrounds by Mary and Diana/Marlene or the Andantes are missing that ingredient that is Florence.
Also is that Flo taking the lead on the early version of Love Is Like An Itchin'-the high parts after the first verse? It's one of those moments where she sounds like Diana or Diana sounds like Flo.
