A very Happy Birthday to Janie Bradford.

Today is Janie Bradford's 78th birthday. Let's all play "Money" which she co-wrote and think about her legacy.
She does not get the recognition that a lot of people associated with Motown receive.

    Happy birthday Janie.

[[Who just happens to share the same surname as me).

And the original version of Money still sounds as fresh [[and the lyrics relevant) today, as it did in 1959!

    Cheers

    Paul

Marv2: Several people have wondered who the male on the extreme right is. It would be helpful when posting pictures like this if you would show L to R names. Thanks.

Me thinks you are right. But I don't recall ever seeing a picture of him.

Hmmm... I remember ages ago there was a thread about a book signing Ralph was doing at the Motown Museum, and Marv went. It looked great. They posted some [[also great) pictures.

Woodward. I've been a member here for 14 years now. I've posted various pics of myself with different artists, at different public events and with some other SDF members.

God bless Mary Wilsen, but that unreleased song possibly had the worst lead vocal in pop music history.

I agree Marv. Great song and great performance. I've always loved this song. Mary more restrained than usual

I could picture her singing it on "Solid Gold" back in the day.
