Great article Jimi. Enjoyed reading. So glad, whatever they did, that the music is being released so we get the chance to hear it.

    A thousand times "good"!

If corporate responsibility does not move the mega-conglomerates who own our musical history to keep it widely available to us, then the law should. This is a fantastic example of how government regulation/legislation works for the common good.

Interesting that Pink Floyd and Bob Dylan are more commercially viable than Motown and the Beach Boys

The idea of unreleased ANYTHING horrifies me. All the old music that's on some vinyl collecting dust because there's too much overhead and paperwork needed to digitize and release it...old TV shows master tapes sitting in a basement somewhere because some exec thinks getting the rights to the soundtrack would be too onerous. It seems like such an injustice that these works of art that so many people worked so hard to produce will *disappear* due to laziness and red tape. Anyway, that's a long winded way of saying THANK YOU EU for forcing these companies to do what they should have done in the first place.
