That string arrangement is truly beautiful. Who was the bass voice in the Jacksons [[if indeed it was one of the brothers)? I've watched a few live performances on youtube and they don' t seem to bother with that part. However Tito mimed [[lip-synched) to it on one of the shows I watched.
