This will be a welcome opportunity to raise the profile of the Stax label again. Interestingly, just the other day I purchased the cd of the 1969 Stax album 'Boy Meets Girl' which features some great duets between the male and female artists on the label at the time.

Indeed! I'll buy some of the new compilations 'just because' and hope the reissue program goes well; Stax has some new bands doing well also.

I bought the three excellent Complete Stax Singles CD Box Sets back in the 1990's -- Vol. 1 [[10 CD's); Vol. 2 [[10 CD's); and Vol. 3 [[9 CD's) totaling 29 CD's. I see they're planning to pick up where they left off by issuing Vol. 4 which will consist of previously-unreleased Stax tracks. Sounds exciting!
