Raynoma Gordy Singeton media coverage in Michigan

I am especially glad that Susan Whitall who is now retired from the Detroit News has written an excellent story on Miss Ray's passing. Had she not done this, no coverage to my knowledge would have been given in Detroit where she was born.

It is an excellent well written article covering her entire career.

Susan Whitall is an excellent journalist. I am afraid her kind are of a dying breed in this internet lite era we are in.

Too bad about Susan retiring; there won't be articles by anyone knowledgeable anymore.

Ray's participation in Motown was important and she is known amongst those of us that know and care.

I remember some reporter once calling her book "Bury Me At Motown".

LOL!!! I first read that that was the title myself in The Star or some such rag and embarrassed myself at Waldenbooks asking for it.
