    Sorry but this was funny...

I cooked my whole turkey, ate and did the dishes during Aretha Franklin's National Anthem performance.
Love Miss Ree but it was long. LOL

It was way too long... 4 minutes and 30 seconds! She drew out each word and nearly repeated them 3 times. It was clear the players were getting antsy as was I. And was anyone else distracted by her appearance? The beanie, the fur coat and the missing tooth! She has millions of dollars and she couldn't get her tooth fixed before going on TV in front of millions of people? It was all bad.

I thought I was mistaken about the missing tooth

I'm not so sure she and many other 60s singers are all that wealthy; Aretha is the celebrity most notorious for not paying her bills and her spending was supposedly out of control

    David Ritz's book was super

She certainly has enough to fix a missing tooth.

Someone said on twitter, "Bro I got married and had a child and Aretha Franklin still isn't done." I love Ree, but Twitter was hilarious yesterday!

Aretha always has a way of causing a splash without taking a leap into a pool.

You gotta love her ...mink coat, snow hat and jeans. She doesn't know when to stop but that's one reason I love her. She is who she is! And we all know the Queen can get away with more than most!!

Isn't it wonderful that after all these years the queen still has the throne.

I'm just glad that after 60 years in the public spotlight, The Queen still gets huge headlines.

Amen to that! And I think Aretha is totally aware of what she's doing at all times! Very smart and savvy woman.
