I just read, in a post by Mary, that her song "You Danced My Heart Around the Stars" is up for a Grammy. Is this really true? The song is great and her rendition is wonderful, but how is this so?

It is an excellent song and performance that should have been released a long time ago.

I did look it up on Amazon.com, but apparently it is no longer available. This surprises me, since the CD has only been out for a year. Maybe I have to dig a little further...

The recording might have been sent out for consideration on the early October ballot. But the official nominations won't be announced until December 6th.

Mary is an excellent singer,and while i understand why berry featured diana,it wouldn't have hurt to have let mary and flo sing lead on a single once and awhile.

I totally agree. It was the sixties and everyone seemed to be going for a novelty sound. Remember Millie Smalls, etc?
