    The Return of After 7

I was surprised to see today that After 7 has just put out a new album called Timeless. This is a nice cover from that album....

The L.A & Babyface sounds was being heralded as the Motown 90s. So when they made one of their industry debuts, at the long defunct, Jack the Rapper convention. The room was packed and overflowing. They disappoint becausee they were the talk of the convention. I really liked the first 2 albums especially the underrated second album with a stunning cover of Marvin Gaye/The Originals "Baby I'm Real". They seemed to be. On the right label, the new Virgin Records, but, Virgin had little luck with R&B. Then Kevon makes his solo debut on RCA, known as the R.ecording C.emetery of A.merica.

I'm surprised Melvin rejoined them. I remember he was forced out due to drug issues. Hopefully his return means he's sober... I heard a snippet of one of their latest songs on the album, After 7 still has it vocally, especially Kevon.
