'One piece of cake' - The Delgonives

It'll never be over. This work in progress cut of 'One piece of cake' by The Delgonives is based on a mid 1960's Detroit groove similarly to Motown/Ric Tic/Golden World. The Delgonives aspire to Phil Spector, Frankie Valli, Motown, Northern Soul, Beach Music sounding releases. When released, this song will have a vocal version, vibe, sax and organ instrumentals, alternative mixes etc. This version is a bit of fun, but may well end up as one of the versions. SoulfulDetroit helped me interact with my eventual producer and musician chums in Detroit to complete my 2008 session there. Big thanks to Dennis Coffey, Spyder Turner, Pree and George Katsakis for helping me realise my potential when nobody else wood. Enjoy.

Like I said on the Soundcloud thread, big thanks to Detroit, its people, musicians, writers, producers who still inspire me after all these years. Only if I had been there! I would have been banging on all the studio doors for sure.
