You can't do what he was doing to such a large group of women and say nothing happened. There was smoke and there was fire.
Still, just like Jian Ghomeshi in Canada, the likelihood of Bill Cosby being convicted is going to be small. Too many years lapsed; memories and evidence will have vanished. And Bill has lots of money to give lawyers and investigators. But this will have made his final years miserable.
And the motivations of some of these women that were keeping him company won't be all that pure and we can expect some of that to come out.
I thought its real interesting that his wife and greatest enabler Camille never attends court hearings with him. In her heart of hearts she probably knows hes abused many women and a few underage girls imo.
Roberta
many of those women sure liked those qualudes.
Here's an interesting read: the transcript excerpts from one of his depositions.

Totally agree with you. A crime is a crime.
But just like in so much of life, when you put yourself in certain positions in certain kinds of elements, you take risks. And there is an elevated risk in the Hollywood way of life - Bobbi Kristina, Whitney, Michael and perhaps Prince.
Another thing that I often wonder about is ~ ten years after the fact, when these women have figured out that Bill Cosby isn't going to be their meal ticket, that he won't get them on the Cosby Show or into some other Hollywood job, they speak up. But they didn't speak up when it happened. It leaves them suspect and open to questions about "why"?
Nonetheless, Bill Cosby's behaviour was very poor and criminal enough to get charged.
He slept with teenagers settled out of court and Camille Cosby stayed with him. They deserve each other. Hes the one lecturing teens and single moms knowing he drufgged and had sex with teenage girls. hes disgusting imo.

I'm not defending bill, but i've seen 12yr olds who could past for 25,and i'll bet you a greasy grady burger that this young[lady]wasn't acting 15 in that club, yes you can call cosby a letch, but an over developed body and low lights!!!!
You're still blaming the victim Blaming the victim is one of the main reasons people don't report rape or other sexual assault. Look at this:

The point is that he admitted it. People can say what they want about people waiting until the statue of limitations ran out, or that they didn't immediately go to the police, or even blame the victim, but, the bottom line is that he admitted it! So, whatever these women did after the fact, they aren't lying. It's just amazing that he got away with it for so long! Well, his luck ran out, and now he's going to trial over it.
We don't know what kind of parents the girl had. For all you know, they could have been religious, and the girl rebelled. You just don't know. She could have had a fake ID. The age of consent could have been fifteen in California at that time. It could be that simply on one checked. We just don't know.
