After The Cookies and The Marvelettes, The Toys were among my top favorite girl groups...
Barbara's sound was so unique and fun...

The Toys are a HIGHLY underrated girl group. So good, in fact, that "A Lover's Concerto" was done in one take. Their harmonies were divine and their productions were top notch. And Barbara's stage presence and voice have only grown big time since their heyday. I just wish the original group would reunite.

I wish the originals would reunite, too. I think Barbara works with some other ladies, now, as The Toys on occasion.

June Montiero still lives in New York and I can't remember how many years ago now,but she joined Barbara for a performance that was televised.

Thank you! I saw this years ago but haven't been able to find it since. They were really quite a dynamic trio!
