This movie, Syl Johnson--Anyway The Wind Blows, is playing right now as part of the Florida Film Festival. I am probably going to see it tomorrow. I watched the movie trailer on YouTube. Has anyone seen this?

It screened last year at the IFC here in New York and I didn't even know it existed! Hopefully

This was great! I saw it yesterday afternoon. Several people were there as it was presented as part of the Florida Film Festival. The festival promoted it as a documentary on the greatest soul singer you either have or haven't heard of. I probably was the only one there who actually knew who Syl Johnson is. But it was a great documentary and I think it was much better than 20 Feet From Stardom, which had also been part of the Florida Film Festival. I am also glad that Syl Johnson is still living and performing. I recommend everyone who loves great '60s R&B to check it out. It may be coming up for an award too, which usually happens with a lot of the FFF movies.
