Bluebrock, we were talking about you working for EMI and Diana in the 1990s. You did offer us precious insights.
Did you ever work with Tina Turner, another EMI artist, in the 1990's?
If it was the case, did you have any information about the promotion and reception of her UK single releases in 1993, "I Don't Wanna Fight" and, especially, "Why Must We Wait Until Tonight?"?
It's interesting to note that both Diana [[One Woman Compilation) and Tina [[What's Love Soundtrack) had # 1 albums in UK in 1993, both released by EMI. Another interesting fact is that Diana's compilation album sold much more than Tina's soundtrack in U.K., but in the rest of the world Tina sold way more.
It proves that Diana's UK career was brilliantly orchestrated. The same thing didn't happen in other parts of the world.
Sometimes I wish Diana had a manager like Roger Davis. He did wonders for Tina, Cher, Janet and many others.
Did Diana ever meet Tina in the 1990's? I know both ladies had a brief encounter in the 2005's Oprah's bash.
