I love that they took it off for a while, toured it, and are bringing it back. That's really a great way to keep it fresh and make it accessible to everyone at the same time. Honestly one of the greatest shows I've ever seen.

I hope they made tweeks and some storyline corrections to the show.

Exactly - I'm sure it will return with a new book - that mess was just awful - especially the original version before they re-wrote it a bunch of times during previews. I loved the show and concept, but like every critic and many ticket holders, I found the book to be horrendous.

I think the story line wasn't the strongest but the show was a huge hit

It would be nice to see it tweaked a bit

As speculated when it first announced the Broadway closing, this is the tour production that will play 18 weeks on Broadway. It is a smaller production than the original Broadway production so more money can be made. It will be good to see the show again. Not a very good book but the show is almost wall-to-wall music and that's Motown!

I was disappointed with the show as a Motown fanatic but all my friends liked it.

Amazing how much talent Detroit had and how much talent traveled to get to Detroit. It was about survival, love, family and dreams.
