Maybe i'm just old,but if a boy went anywhere near a barbie doll back in the day,he had better not show his face on the schoolyard,i'm sorry that ain't cool or cute.
I think they thought they were being inclusive; however, they still went with gay-stereotyping even if it was meant light-heartedly.
When Barbie first came out, I started to see it in the stores with her bathing suit pulled down. I knew the neighborhood kids were making the rounds. Window-shopping at its finest.
