    Tbfxt - From what I found, he played ranch foreman 'Candy Canaday' from 1967-70; left after a contract dispute; returned after Dan Blocker's death, continuing from 1972-73.

    Brain cells must be taking a holiday today...I just dont remember the character even though Bonanza was a big thing in our household.

    What!!!oh man so sorry to hear of his passing,yes david[canaday]canary long before his soap opera turn was indeed a regular on[bonanza]one of the great tv cowboys...r.i.p.
