Gosh, what a rush it always was whenever I'd see this terrific newspaper for sale on the newstands! Absolutely impossible not to buy it. Simply could not be passed up. There wasn't anything else quite like it.

I remember a Soul newspaper from late 60's to early 70's in NY-NJ area hoods.

I'm not so sure because there was also a local one which gave info om upcoming shows, it had local advertising too. The newspaper itself was a dingy color, most cover headline that said Soul was in blue.

I meant to thank you for posting this last week, Meth...I remember Soul very well and fondly.
I hope they can get most if not all of those issues digitized. I subscribed to the newsletter.
