I am thankful that someone is interested in preserving the legacy. Sadly that didn't happen to Fortune Records when Woodward and I saw it some 25 years ago.

It is also sad that nothing was done to preserve 1719 Gladstone, the original home of Motown Records. Nothing remains but a piece of empty ground.

No shade because it deserves it but like the others mentioned, why weren't there grants for the old Motown building as well?
