Thanks for choosing the stereo version of Kim's "You Hit Me Where It Hurt Me"
Thanks for choosing the stereo version of Kim's "You Hit Me Where It Hurt Me"
Thanks for playing the Shirelles' "Last Minute Miracle"...er, sorry, I mean Kim Weston's "You Hit Me Where It Hurt Me"
That instrumentation just flowed so perfectly after Reflections on the album. Perfect placement. In fact there was a certain feel/effect until 'In and Out Of Love'
Carole - I wish I knew the answer to that one, too, but I haven't been the same since I saw the photo at the very top of this thread--particulary Mary's gray hosiery with those copper-colored shoes. That's art, and Mary did it. Beautiful.

Now, Carole, I'm already anticipating your next question--but I have no idea if the pantyhose were control-top or not.
Getting songs as good as Brenda Holloway's "I See A Rainbow" justified signing the Lewis Sisters. Were they really school teachers or was that just a publicity stunt?
Richard Tee is listed as arranger for both the Shirelle's Last Minute Miracle & Alice Clark's You Hit Me Right here It Hurt Me
.......
Gosh, can you believe it--one more quick touch up! Had COD as CODE.

A most enjoyable night, John.
The music was wonderfully RARE.
And the show was so WELL-DONE.
And fun!
And you can dance to it, too!
Many thanks.
It's strange how late at night the old eyes can play tricks on ya'.
Looking again at the initial photo that promoted this thread- and specifically the faces....there something Aretha-ish about Cindy and Florence LaRue Gordon-ish about Diana. But Tex still looks like Mary.

It will be getting light soon, so it must be time for me to go to bed.
Great show, John.
Meth,
What happened to the very colorful Fiesta Sisters?
"Tex still looks like Mary"--Carole, you're killin' me!
