    In the film versions, 'Cosmo Topper' was played by Roland Young [[birthday, November 11th - !). English actor born in London, 1887, and passed away in New York City, in 1953.

    Roland was nominated for Academy Award as Best Supporting actor, 1938, for playing Cosmo Topper. Played Uncle Willie, Katherine Hepburn's uncle, in 'The Philadelphia Story', 1940.
