I guess these don't include the stuff they did when Hendrix was in their band.

The only problem I have is that:
    1) I have all of the T-Neck albums on CD already
    2) my budget is tight these days

If the mastering is superior over the older CDs from 1969-1972, i'll find a way.

I have most of this already as well. I think the Isley's are extremely under rated in the soul pantheon. What I would REALLY like to see is all of their Atlantic recordings on a CD. And I'm sure there is stuff in the Atlantic can as well. Their atlantic material is shamedly absent digitally.

After seeing all the bonus tracks of the mono single versions, and whatnot, I will absolutely find a way to get these. I only hope they go up as individual albums on Pono. I have been looking for the single versions of many of their hits for decades. I made a couple of needledrops, but it will be nice to have them officially from tape.

I just hope the mastering engineer didn't compress the crap out of it all.

@jack020, what was the price last week? I looked this morning, and it said 80 pounds, then when I put in my order the price was 70 pounds. Not sure why it fluctuated so quickly, but 70 pounds still is a good deal - only a little more than $100. But I'm curious, what was it earlier? Was it lower than that?

Was 39.99 I pre-ordered at that price... weren't expecting it to double, but as you said £70 is still a good price

Darn! Should have checked SDF sooner. Okay, thanks for letting me know. Maybe [[hopefully) it will come down again. Of course, it would have to come down a lot at this point.

When Chris Jasper left The Isley Brothers and formed Isley-Jasper-Isley, the Isley Brothers never again wrote or played their own music. That is because brother-in-law Chris Jasper was the composer behind all of those Isley Brothers and Isley-Jasper-Isley hits. If you want to know where the "Isley Brothers" sound went, just visit Chris's website where you can hear his solo music following the IJI breakup to present... more than 12 solo albums with all great music, including 4 gospel albums! And his new CD will be released this September...it is spectacular! So if you are missing that classic Isley Brothers/Isley-Jasper-Isley sound, please follow Chris Jasper and please spread the word! Connect with Chris on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and on his website where you will find all the links: http://www.ChrisJasper.com

Yeah, you posted this in the producer thread too.

But, anyway, I would opt for the lossless or hi-rez downloads because they contain a lot of bonus tracks tioy may not find on the CDs.
