Man!!! I just had the pleasure [[once again) of performing on stage, playing keys for Stevie at a surprise birthday party for him! It was thrown by R&B Live Hollywood, and the hostess was my girl Kym Whitley! Smokey Robinson, Quincy Jones, Johnny Gill, Chante Moore, Keith Washington, Miguel Nunez, Mr. & Mrs. Terry Crews, Tommy Davidson, Mike City, Ray Parker, Jr., Red Grant, DeRay Davis, Byron Miller, Herman Jackson, and Marva King were all there. I called Mickey and invited him to the party, but unfortunately he didn't fall through.

Now, when Stevie came up to the stage, he said that he was not going to sing because he "hurt his thoat!" [[that's exactly how he said it!) last month, and of course I was thinking "yeah right, let's see how long that decision is gonna last!" Next thing you know, he and Johnny started teasing each other, battling it out, imitating each other's vocal stylings, which was hilarious! Then it was on and crackin'! First was "All I Do", then "Ribbon In The Sky". Then Stevie took us way back with "Uptight [[Everything's Alright)", and one of my favorites, "Hey Love"! It was [[yeah, I'm going there) WONDERful!!!
