I have this album. Don't care at all for the uptempo tracks but the ballads are great, including the brilliant [[sampled by Nas on Take It In Blood) Mixed Up Moods And Attitudes

I have never heard it but I look forward to hearing it when I get my hands on this cd. Once again Ace records live up to their name. Where would we be without these brilliant UK labels?

Some confusion here Bluebrock. This is their mid-70s album on Westbound/Atlantic. It's the Motown tracks that Ace are issuing on CD.

MIKEW-UK & Bluebrock both are in luck: Ace did reissue the FF post-Motown albums a while back :

    Hi Soulwally!

As you can see, one of the writers on that fine "Mixed Up Moods And Attitudes" was Wallave "Toby" Childs, who had passed eight years earlier.
Joseph Pruitt: "We had written that song a long time ago, so we gave him the credit for what he had put it."

    [[Soul Express: The Fantastic Four).

    Best regards
    Heikki

Sweet James live.....the only video of a truly great entertainer - just look at his stagecraft, how comfortable on stage infront of an audience he is delivering this wonderful moving song... his shruggs, gestures and nods of the head are more impactful than the overworked dance moves of today's "stars" with their posses of dancers
