More sad news. Condolences to his family and friends. A real talent lost.

Sad news, but he lived a good life and continued working over the years. In the days when the words 'legend' and 'talent' are attributed to anyone who has five minutes in the spotlight, Stan was a real legend in my eyes. His creativity, humour, production skills and values have a had a big influence on me. He was a master of humour, satire and using sound as a medium. I had the honour of meeting him and shaking his hand when he came to the UK ten years ago to record a show for BBC Radio 4. Thank you Stan.
