Cool Rare SUPREMES [[DMF) Video Medley Including "Everything Is Good About You"

I just discovered this excellent Supremes video with Diana, Mary & Flo performing a medley of "I Hear A Symphony", "Stranger In Paradise", "Wonderful, Wonderful", "Everything Is Good About You", and "Without A Song".

Is it just me, or do the girls seem especially fresh and exciting here? I think it’s the latter.

It's from the Ed Sullivan Show on which they also performed You Can't Hurry Love. Diana is still missing the earring she lost during the performance of Can't Hurry.

I agree it all came together in this performance. They looked fantastic and Flo very animated. Diana a bit screechy at times.

Ah, okay. Thanks, jaap. That makes sense. I recognized the blue "You Can't Hurry Love" dresses, but didn't realize this performance was from the same show. I love this video performance. The girls -- even Flo -- look especially happy. I wish this performance was available on DVD.

Yeah, they sounded and looked particularly great here. Flo, in particular, is vocally on point.

I watched this three times and Flo, Mary and Diana look and sound awesome. I have yet to see where exactly Diana sounds "screechy" but to each his own. This is a wonderful group performance. Every element comes together to make the Supremes exactly what they were... Supreme.

I've always wondered why "Everything Is Good About You" was cut from the Symphony medley in the live shows. It fit perfectly.

Yeah, it sure did, Brad. Hearing it performed live here for the first time ever [[as I did), it sounded just as good live as did the studio recording. And it provided a nice pop-music contrast to the standards within the medley. It should have been a keeper.
