I am writing to tell you about an upcoming event that may be of particular interest to you.

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Tamla Motown Revue UK Tour in April 1965, the Theatre & Performance Department at the V&A will be hosting a special full-day event on Saturday 25th April. The day will feature guest speakers who will reflect on the history of Motown and its impact on today’s music scene as well as a screening of ‘Ready, Steady, Go: The Motown Review’. Accompanying this will be a display of Tamla material drawn from the EMI archive and other contributors.

The event is free to attend, however, booking is essential.
