There was a great event at the famed Apollo Theater this past week called "Bold Soul Sisters". It featured conversations with Rochelle Fleming of First Choice, Nona Hendryx of Labelle, Ruth Pointer of The Pointer Sisters and Kathy Sledge of Sister Sledge. They talked about the ups and downs of the industry and the challenges of being women in the industry. Though the quality isn't that great there are several clips on youtube . The conversations seemed quite interesting. Also Melba Moore and Diana Ross' daughter Rhonda was in the audience, as you can see them in one of the photos.
