I haven't seen that acapella clip of them singing the National Athem in a long time. Love it!
Thanks for these!
True...
But.. Hey stay tuned, i'm uploading the performance of The Supremes singing: Let Yourself Go on The Mike Douglas Show on their last Tv appearance together
Here's the performance of Let Yourself Go on Mike Douglas Show
I was already several months looking for these videos, and finally found them, it looks like I was hit by a tide luck ... LOL! I found them between last night and this morning, I was so happy, I had a duty to share this with you, I think many people were waiting to see this for many years, I am very glad you like it!
But, people which performance you like more? With music or acapella?
I think the acapella "Star Bangled Version" is unbeatable. We've got to get that on a "rarities" set sometime!
Vocally this was the best group in my opinion. Scherrie was a powerhouse stick of dynamite and Susaye was a lightning rod fireplug. I wish they would have let me do their stage grouping. On the Mike Douglas show I would have put Mary in the middle.
Thank You so much Wesley Francisco, for postin these Supremes rarities,Mary Wilson Cindy Birdsong Jean Terrell Lynda Laurence Scherrie Payne and Susaye Greene were GREAT,MacArthur Park wow,i wish that was on The Supremes Live in Japan cd,PRICELESS.
I was present when Jean and Lynda were discussing recording this song for the Jimmy Webb album [[this was in 2002).
I'm glad you like it REDHOT!
Stunning. Star making turn for Mary. I'm surprised she didn't get a movie contract from this. Where did u find it?..thx!
