    Favorite old TV shows......

With Dish TV and a million channels.....often, I end up watching QVC or the weather channel. How sad is that! I long for the 'good old days', so to speak. Some of my favorites were....[[and I was a kid, then...really):
    Surfside 6
    77 Sunset Strip
    Bourbon Street Beat
    Adventures in Paradise
    Boris Karloff's 'Thriller'
    Hawaiian Eye
Goulardi [[guess you had to be in Cleveland for that one)
    Sea Hunt
The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis
    I Married Joan
    The Goldberg's
    Sky King
    Fury
    Perry Mason
    Maude

There are too many for me to name them all, but I'll offer the two best nights for television for me:
CBS Saturday night with All In The Family, The Jeffersons, Mary Tyler Moore, The Bob Newhart Show, and The Carol Burnett Show [[also included MASH at one point) was truly remarkable. NBC had Thursday night lineup with The Cosby Show, Cheers, Night Court, Family Ties, and The Hill Street Blues.

Both nights had three hours of solid entertainment that you didn't need to get up to walk to the television to change the channel.
